Craig holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree gained at the University of New England whilst he was in the midst of an eleven year career with the Australian Armed forces. After graduating in 2005 he moved into the profession of public accounting and with life skills gained in serving as an infantry section commander, he was able to quickly adapt to the disciplines of commerce. Craig was accepted into membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and whilst working in the top tier firm of Pitcher Partners, rose to senior accountant in their business services department. He took up his appointment with AS Partners in 2011 to redirect his career through more personal involvement with client business owners.
At AS Partners Craig manages a diverse client base of businesses and high net worth individuals who operate in the building & construction, manufacturing, IT, management consulting, primary production and mortgage broking industries. Organisational skills are at the forefront when clients seek remedies for business administrative issues, business planning, and analysing results from accounting reports to determine viable alternative proposals for action. His field of expertise covers Capital Gains Tax, business structuring and operation of medical practices and service trusts.
Currently Craig is the Treasurer on the board of management for Better Hearing Australia (Vic), which is a not for profit assisting the hearing impaired to receive the assistance they require to deal with hearing loss. In his spare time Craig enjoys the precious moments with his young family, time out at the beach and when he can, supporting the mighty Carlton Blues and Melbourne Storm.
