Jonathan Kha graduated from Monash University with a double degree in Bachelor of Business Accounting and Computing and was admitted as a Certified Practising Accountant with CPA Australia in 2005. He has a strong interest in self-managed superannuation funds and began his career in audit of both self-managed and industry based funds.
Commencing with AS Partners in June 2003 his specialty in self-managed superannuation funds has developed to the role of manager taking responsibility of all stages in the superannuation process. Having attained SPAA Superannuation Specialists Advisor Accreditation in 2012 he enthusiastically uses his technical knowledge to assists clients and staff with superannuation enquires. Jonathan is involved at the commencement of the process with the assessment of the suitability of a particular fund, to the setup of the fund, to consulting with clients on the duties and responsibilities as trustees, to coordinating the compliance processes and ensuring the fund maintains its complying status with both APRA and the ATO.
Jonathan also holds the role of managing a group of clients for business service requirements which includes all facets of accounting and taxation and is often involved in analysis of reports, budgets, tax planning strategies and estate planning with the clients making up his select group.
Jonathan plays competitive basketball and the occasional round of golf on the weekends. He also enjoys having family time with this wife Jacqueline and their eight year old son Liam. Being a passionate Hawthorn supporter he gets great enjoyment in going to the footy with his son Liam and flaunting his Hawthorn guernsey and scarf around the office, win or lose.
Career aside Jonathan’s ambition it to visit South America and follow the Inca’s Trail, visiting Mayan Civilisations and trekking up to Machu Picchu.
